He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Süleyman Demirel University in 2009 and earned his PhD with a thesis titled “Evaluation of the Effects of Diode Laser Applied as a Biostimulant on Edema, Trismus, and Pain after Surgically Assisted Rapid Maxillary Expansion Surgery.” Dr. Sönmez has an extensive professional experience, having placed over 30,000 implants.

Dr. Sönmez is an active participant in numerous national and international congresses and seminars as a speaker and instructor.
